Holy Cross and St Mary

It’s been a strange few months!

Although we have been running online services, the church has been closed, so giving to the church is down. In addition to that, Quaintfest has been cancelled this year for obvious reasons! This is an event organised by the church and it normally raises £4000 plus for church funds – much needed at this time. We would really appreciate your support at this time to help us with the ongoing life and work of the church and to enable us to plan for the future. We are currently looking to upgrade the heating system in the church ready for the winter season and there are a number of maintenance issues we have to deal with. We also have plans to develop community initiatives and to put more resources into our children’s work.

There are several ways of donating funds to the church:

First: We have a Just Giving crowdfunding page with the aim of raising at least the £4000 we will be losing this year through the cancellation of Quaintfest. If you would like to donate this way, here is the link: Quainton Church Donations

Second: We have a QR Code (Quick Response Code) linked to our church bank account. You should have a QR Code Reader on your mobile phone, if not, download a free QR Code Reader App, then using your phone camera, scan the code below. This will give you various giving options:

Third Option: It really helps us if we know what level of regular giving is coming into church funds, that way we can work out a projected budget for the next year and make plans to grow the church through our Ministry, Mission and Maintenance needs. So we are part of the Parish Giving Scheme which is run by the Diocese and administered by them at NO COST TO US. When people become part of the scheme, they are able to give on a regular basis in the confidence that their donations are going directly to Quainton Church funds.

If you would like to join our Parish Giving Scheme, please contact our Treasurer, Chris Willcox on 01296 655405 or our Vicar, Rev Steve Flashman on 07950 000910 (steve@steveflashman.com)

Thank you!
